Why did we setup BY Cover?
At BY Cover, we believe in providing an affordable way to protect you and your pet from those unexpected accidents. We provide a middle ground between a fully comprehensive pet policy and having no cover at all. We cover injuries and third party liability, but not illnesses, meaning that we can provide a safety net for those unexpected accidents. It also provides a service for those who may have been priced out of comprehensive policies due to pre-existing conditions.
Competitive Pricing
Comprehensive policies are known for their large price increases as a pet ages. Because we only cover injuries, we are able to provide a much more stable pricing journey that avoids these increases.
Working Dogs
As working dog owners ourselves, we know that it can be hard to find insurance to cover days in the field. We therefore have specialist cover for working gundogs and sheepdogs. A shoot day or life on the farm can increase the chances of injuries and the resulting bill can be an expensive shock. We are able to provide great cover options if you have a whole team of dogs, where having a level of cover would normally be unaffordable.
